About Kari-Lise

Kari-Lise Alexander’s work is rooted in the exploration of identity and the natural world. She focuses on capturing the unique bounties of fauna and flora found around her home in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

Combining that love for the natural world with a focus on the female form she creates realistic interwoven works with a surreal bent that often reflect a deep internal monolog. The narrative is then turned outward for the audience with a tendency to leave the viewer feeling as if they are living the same private moment in time.

Kari-Lise works from her home studio in Seattle, WA where she lives with her husband, two poodles, and a pair of rabbits.

Kari-Lise is represented by local and international galleries.
